who in their right mind would put a flat jackstand under the seam of the fender???? It could easily slide off and kill you, not to mention you are going to cause the exact damage he is talking about! You use the frame rails up front or the suspension tie-in points or subframe in the rear. He asked what happened to his car, I told him. And it depends what you need to jack the car up for. The points I told him about are the correct points to use with the factory jack, like I said. Also, if you don't have any wood around you can't even get a floorjack under the front xmember w/o first jacking up the car some from either side using the scissors jack. Sheesh. Mike
